Cursillo

I made my Cursillo the first weekend in August in 2005.  It was, by far, one of the most amazing times in my life.  I became much closer to God and my faith. 

But what is Cursillo?  That's hard to explain to someone who has never experienced it and once you have that experience, you don't need an explaination (but you then understand how hard it is to explain!)  Everyone experiences their weekend in different ways.  The women who were on my weekend all had different ways they were touched by God.  I think that is one reason it's so hard to explain.  God affects everyone in their own way. 

Basically though, Cusillo is a movement within the Catholic Curch about living closer to Christ and evangelizing in our everyday lives.  The website for Cursillo within the Diocese of Charllote has a much better explaination that I can give.  Check out their page for information.
